Perrysburg Inclusive Playground

Located at Rotary Community Park in Perrysburg, OH, the Perrysburg Inclusive Playground presented by Mercy Health was the first inclusive playground project for Wood County Plays. It was also the first inclusive playground in Perrysburg.

The Perrysburg Inclusive Playground presented by Mercy Health is more than 13,000 square feet of the thoughtfully designed playspace. The playground exceeds ADA recommendations and creates a safe and fun environment for people of all abilities.

Making this playground become a reality became a true community project. More than 250 individuals, families, and local businesses donate their money, time, and talents to make this playground a reality. Together, more than $800,000 was raised in 18 just months - and a global pandemic!

We Go Round

A fully accessible merry-go-round with thoughtful seating and ample room for wheelchairs encourages socialization and fun for everyone.

Crab Trap

An accessible challenging ropes course!

Zipline Racers

An ultra-smooth ride for kids of all abilities equipped with standard grippy swing and bucket swing for side by side racing.

Music Equipment

An auditory sensory experience with all the instruments needed to create an imaginary rock band or just explore rhythm and sound.

Toddler Play Area

A specifically designed imagination zone for younger children featuring a house, fire engine, slides, and tunnels to explore.

Sensory Tunnel

A sensory-rich experience for all children filled with light, color, and textures. The tunnel is wide enough for wheelchairs.
